Dr. Narinder Mahal
Dr. Mahal received his DDS from Columbia University in 2012, achieving Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. His area of concentration in dental school was oral surgery, and he spent numerous hours learning in oral surgical clinics. Prior, he had studied at Government Dental College in Amritsar, Punjab, India. To remain current with the latest techniques and technology, he regularly advances his knowledge through continuing education courses. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the International Dental Implant Association.
In 2015, Dr. Mahal moved to Sacramento after serving as a dentist in Miami and Boston. His goal as a dentist is to take care of his patients with the best available and up-to-date knowledge. He wants to reduce dental pain and discomfort and help patients achieve great smiles that they are proud of. Dr. Mahal believes a great smile is the best dental referral. Land Park Dental is very compassionate and caring toward our patients’ needs; Dr. Mahal and our team do everything we can to keep patients comfortable and happy in the dental chair.
Dr. Mahal is married to Raman, a lawyer by profession, and they have two handsome sons, Ekam Singh Mahal and Zoravar Singh Mahal. Dr. Mahal enjoys hiking, water sports, and soccer. He has tried sitting in front of the TV and playing Xbox, but finds that he cannot stay indoors. If talking were a hobby, it would be his favorite.
Melissa Canavan
Lead Dental Assistant
Melissa grew up in a small suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. She moved to Sacramento and started her dental career in 2018. Melissa did her externship with Land Park dental and we hired her permanently with our office. Her favorite thing about working in dental is getting to know patients and making sure they are taken care of. Melissa also likes the fact that everyday brings something new and different. Outside of work you can find Melissa spending time with friends and her significant other. Melissa enjoys staying active and spending time with her dog Tank and her cat Cleo. She also enjoys staying at home and watching a good Netflix show. We love having Melissa be apart of our dental family!
Lenka Korbelich
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Lenka was born and raised in Europe. She has been in the dental field since 1996, where she started out as an Oral Surgery assistant in San Francisco. After 10 years she moved with her family to Sacramento, where she decided to pursue her Dental Hygiene degree. Lenka has been working as a RDH for 11 years now. Lenka loves educating her patients towards better oral hygiene care and habits. Lenka also strives to make her patients feel less apprehensive in the dental chair. Outside of work you can find Lenka reading suspense novels, watching mystery movies, working out and shopping. Lenka also likes to spend time outside attending to her flower garden and taking care of her 2 cats and a dog. Her free spirit and warm personality really make her an amazing team member and a delight to have in our office.
Madeline Reinke
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Madeline has always had a fine attention to detail and compassion for others. When she explored the idea of dental hygiene, she knew this was a career that she could feel passionate about. Madeline loves educating her patients about their oral health and tries to creatively problem solve issues patients may be having. Through her efficiency and gentle nature, she is able to provide patients with comfortable and quality care. In her free time, Madeline enjoys DIY projects, photography, and design.
